Taiwan International Children's Film Festival (TICFF)
(閱讀中文請往下看) For the 4th biennial, TICFF received a record number of 548 Films In Competition. We are grateful for everyone's enthusiasm and are excited to be reviewing them for the 2010 program.
During our first press conference, we also announced special project, "Rainbow Over Troubled Water", where 5 directors and anim⋯⋯ators are commissioned to document children affected by Typhoon Morakot that scrapped southern Taiwan in early-August, causing mudslides that washed away village and taking a life toll of over 600 people.
It is TICFF's goal to connect with children after the traumatic event and tell the story from THEIR perspective. This series of documentaries is set for premiere at the 2010 TICFF. Please stay tuned.
