is feeling historical...did you know that SF's downtown is built on landfill and buried ships from the Gold Rush? Over 800 vessels anchored in Yerba Buena Cove (what is now downtown SF) in 1849 and were abandoned as their passengers
and crew left in search of gold. Historians believe there may be as many as 75 ships un⋯⋯der downtown -- 40 of which have been discovered. So cool!
